Israel’s Field Hospital is “No.1”

In November 2016 the UN’s World Health Organization (WHO) awarded Israel its highest honor – type 3 certification. Israel is literally the only country in the world that has gained that high level of recognition. The United Nation’s World Health Organization recognized the Israeli army’s field hospital, which is regularly sent abroad to provide aid at natural disaster sites, as “the number one in the world”, link. This is quite refreshing since the UN is generally biased against Israel.

Trump backs Israel

In contrast to the Obama administration, Donald Trump is clearly pro-Israel. He has called Israel “America’s best and most reliable friend” and claimed that Israel is the only stable democracy in the region. Trump gets on well with Israel’s PM too: “You truly have a great prime minister in Benjamin Netanyahu”. When it comes to aggressive nations, Trump plans to “dismantle the disastrous deal with Iran … We will totally dismantle Iran’s global terror network”.

America’s leaders have often said “God bless America”. The truth is, that will not happen unless its leaders bless Israel. To quote God’s promise to Israel: “I will bless those who bless you” (Genesis 12).

UN thumps Israel

On America’s election day (Tuesday November 8, 2016) the United Nations General Assembly adopted 10 resolutions singling out Israel, with only 4 expected to be adopted later in the week for the entire rest of the world. One resolution falsely condemned Israel for ‘repressive measures’ against Syrian citizens on the Golan Heights. In contrast, not a single U.N. General Assembly resolution was planned that day for gross human rights abusers such as Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Venezuela, China, or Cuba.

This is another example of world, and particularly United Nations, bias against Israel. According to the Bible, organisations like the U.N. who condemn Israel will be called to account.

Aliyah from France

The French Jewish community of some 500,000 is the third largest in the world after Israel and the USA. But recent antisemitism is encouraging increasing immigration to Israel.

Facts: 1,900 emigrated in 2012, increasing to 3,400 in 2013 in creasing to 7,000 in 2014. God is calling His people back to their own land.

Only One State is Possible

“There is a grave incompatibility between what Israel needs for its own well being and national military integrity, its right to settlements in the land of Israel, and what the Palestinians demand, which is a Palestinian state emptied of any Jews and which is not ready to recognize Israel as a Jewish state at all.”
[Professor Mordechai Nisan, Hebrew University of Jerusalem]

Help for French Jews

As more and more French Jews aliyah to Israel, the Jewish Agency is there to help.

“The Jewish Agency will help those Jews who decide to move to Israel … it will help them to find work and provide them with professional advice. At the same time, we are working to strengthen the Jewish community in France and to provide more security for Jewish institutions”
[Natan Sharansky, Chairman, Jewish Agency]

Help for Quake Victims

The catastrophic earthquake that hit central Italy October 2016 sparked an outpouring of goodwill from many countries, including Israel and the local Jewish community in Rome. IsraAid dispatched a 20-member staff of search and rescue, relief and trauma specialists. And Italy’s large Jewish community in Rome began a blood drive and vowed to raise money to help the quake victims. Over a decade IsraAid has responded to crises in 35 countries, reached over a million people and distributed over 1,000 tons of relief and medical supplies, link.

Threat to Tel Aviv

A Perfect Storm

“A perfect storm is brewing for Israel … Across every border Israel shares with its neighbours, within its borders, and far removed from them, a formidable range of threats – from damaging economic sanctions and international isolation, through murderous terrorist attacks, jihad insurgency and domestic insurrection, to the spectre of weapons of mass destruction and a nuclear Iran … a multi-faceted menace that jeopardizes the survival of the Jewish nation-state …”
[Michael Sherman, Jerusalem Post, 13-11-14]

UNESCO backs Muslim Claims

UNESCO’s October 2016 resolution on “Occupied Palestine” referred to the Temple Mount and the Western Wall in Jerusalem by its Muslim names only, ignoring the abundant historical record of Jewish ties to the area. Israeli officials said that the resolution is nothing less than a “nullification of Jewish ties to the Temple Mount” and Tourism Minister Yariv Levin called the decision “anti-Semitic.” In their favour, Estonia, Germany, Lithuania, The Netherlands, United Kingdom and United States voted against the resolution.

EU on Jerusalem

“We need a Palestinian State – that is the ultimate goal and this is the position of all the European Union. Jerusalem can be and should be the capital of two states.”
[Frederica Mogherini, EU Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy ]

EU Sanctions on Israel

The EU plans to impose crippling economic and cultural sanctions on Israel if she does not agree to unilaterally withdraw behind the 1949 Armistice lines. The plan is to punish Israel economically and to deprive this isolated democracy of its political legitimacy.

Israel’s Gay Marriage Debate

“It’s no secret that I’m religious. Judaism does not recognize gay marriage. We do not even view as kosher the mixing of milk and meat, and nothing is going to change that.”
[Naftali Bennett, Economy Minister, Knesset]

Quotes against Israel

“The United States does not believe that the state of Palestine qualifies as a sovereign state and does not recognize it as such”
[Jen Psaki, US State Department]

“Recognition (of a two-state solution) is not an Israeli bargaining chip, it’s a Palestinian right”
[Grahame Morris, Labour, UK Commons debate]

The Swedish Social Democratic Party is “pro Arab, pro Islam and anti-Israel”
[Isaac Bachman, Israel’s Ambassador to Sweden]

“We will build an Islamic state in Palestine, all of Palestine”
[Mahmoud al-Zahar, Hamas official, West Bank]

The Third Jewish Temple

The Temple Institute wishes to rebuild the ‘Third Holy Temple in Jerusalem’ and in 2014 it raised $100,000 for architectural plans. Rabbi Chaim Richman of the Temple Institute said “We are constantly looking for ways to include as many people as possible in our mission to rebuild the Holy Temple … it’s about bringing about a spiritual reunification of mankind.” According to a recent poll, one third of Israelis believe that Israel should erect the Temple on the Temple Mount [Breaking News]

Goods Boycott Backfires

It seems that the international ‘boycott, divest and sanctions’ (BDS) movement aimed at Israeli companies is directly harming its intended beneficiaries, the Palestinians: “The impact of BDS is more psychological than real so far and has had no discernible impact on Israeli trade or the broader economy … (but) the sanctions do run the risk of hurting the Palestinian economy”
[Kristin Lindow, Vice President, Moody’s Investors Service]

Gospel to Israeli Soldiers

Ultra-Orthodox Jewish anti-missionary group Yad L’Achim has published an urgent video to social media sites warning against a “dangerous Christian missionary audio player” [Israel Today, Nov 2014]. Produced by MegaVoice, the pocket-sized audio player known as “Envoy” has Bible texts in modern Hebrew, and is being distributed to Israeli soldiers. A New Testament text was produced by Maoz Israel and narrated by Shlomi Nahum.
